Razer Tiamat – The Power of 7
Razer has been doing quite a lot of work secretly in their labs over the past few months and people at Gamescom 2011 get a first look at these new releases. Among these is the true gaming headset, the Razer Tiamat.
The new headset features some cool 7.1 surround sound system. It carries 10 individual drivers (5 in each cup) for that crystal clear surround sound experience. Just like the Razer Megalodon, the 7.1 will provide a good advantage in gaming especially in first person shooter games.

The Razer Tiamat features a control panel just like its predecessor the Maelstrom where in users can tweak sound levels to their liking. Full customization of the audio channels.

Like all of the Razer headsets, this carries the same style in providing high quality comfort in gaming. Sturdy construction and well padded ear cups and headband. This time, it comes with a leatherette ear cushion for that added comfort.

The headset also carries a unidirectional, noise-filtering microphone. This is a must in gaming especially in team games. It will also be useful it you have other things to use it for especially for those audiophiles and DJs out there.

Razer has done a good job with this headset and has put up a contest for those who want one.
